filtering color for grays

Not a graphics post + a dash of spam. If you haven't heard from me either via my site, emails, comments, replies, wherever... it's likely because:

1. I'm away for work (have been since right after the texture challenge reveal post). Which also means no graphic updates from me for at least another 2-3 weeks, because I won't have access to Photoshop or my computer (which means any graphics stuff) until then.

2. Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows is currently attached to me wherever I go and it's taking priority in whatever free time I may have at the moment (as is probably the case for many of you, I assume). :p If any of you are reading or doing posts on it, feel free to drop me links to them. I'm immensely curious about what others think of the book so far.

Be back here with stuff as soon as I can! There are a couple of important emails from you guys that I will get back to ASAP though. You'll hear from me very soon.

I've just put Colorfilter.net back up with the new version + new layout and all that. :) Please let me know ASAP if something isn't working right for you or if you come across some kind of an error. I pretty much did everything over, so I'm really hoping I didn't screw something up somewhere! And I also hope you think this new layout is much easier on the eyes than my previous purple one. It's very simple though. ;p

I would also appreciate it if you could help me click on the blog link to see if that layout appears without error too? Thank you!

There are some things I want to make note of though- because with this new version, I'll also be changing the way I do some things at this journal.

And I just have to share this page with you, because I only just found out and I'm trying not to be too hacked off. You can click on the link of said "graphic owner" to view all the graphics she submitted. Not only did this person take a whole bunch of my zodiac icons to submit to that site, she even claimed ownership of them. She tried to alter the coloring on a few of them, but I wonder if she thinks that will make the icons hers. For those who have never seen the graphics in question- here it is. Pretty much the entire first batch was taken. Oh yay.

Hi everyone! Many of you have been commenting or emailing me about either problems/glitches with downloading files or asking why I haven't updated in such a long time- and since some possible changes or more glitches may occur during the next few days, I thought I should make a post about it.

Please take a moment to read this if: you've been having problems downloading files, you're wondering why I haven't been updating, you want to know what and when I'll update again, or you'd like to help (on things that can be helped). I just wanted to say that I most likely won't be posting for a while, and I thought I should at least give a notice rather than just disappear without a word because I get the feeling that some of you may misunderstand. At this moment, I'm thinking 2-3 weeks though that may change to sooner or later...it's really difficult for me to say right now.

Because I have gazillions of babbles to...babble about, including how/where to get more pattern sets and gradient sets from me, and some updates, etc.- I'm putting all details behind a cut. :p And also, great thanks to everyone who has responded to my previous post. :) I'm reading through them now and will get to replying soon- though maybe after I wake up later because I haven't slept in over 24 hrs. :p
