filtering color for grays

First, thank you to all those who have commented on my previous artwork posts. I really appreciate that you guys took the time to look at the random stuff I've done. :) After recently recovering some of my old work, it's made me go through a lot of thinking- about how I'm just not very creative now and that saddens me. So if you see some artwork stuff pop up every now and then, it's really me just trying to ease myself back into what I've missed during my creative slumber, so please bear with me...I realize there are those of you who really don't care for these posts. :p

This piece that I'm sharing now is also not a new one- but it's something that describes how I'm feeling and have been feeling for a while now...so it's rather personal. The description and a brief on the meaning behind it is at the provided link.

Another artwork spam. :p I solemnly promise that I'll stop posting weird things and that an icon texture set is coming very soon- perhaps in a couple of hours if I get it sorted quickly. Hee, watch me get defriended by a whole slew of people again. Call me lame for noticing that I was defriended by over 10 people in a span of an hour after I posted about the painting...and then some more. Or maybe it was a coincidence and I'm being retarded. =X Ohh but thank you to everyone who left me such awesome comments on the painting- you're all so sweet! :)

In terms of this piece of art- it's a digital one that I did on Photoshop some time last year. Looking back on it, there are several things about it that I'm not happy with but that's nothing new when it comes to how I view my own stuff. x_x

*squiggles* I was able to recover a decent enough picture of a really old and experimental painting that I did over 10 years ago- back when I was in high school, around 10th grade. It's a pretty simple painting and those who know me have probably already seen it- but I thought I'd finally upload something to my very dead DA account that I've never used. And since a few of you have mentioned about wanting to see random art by me, I thought I'd share...even if it doesn't quite represent me or the stuff that I've done in years. Everyone else, don't mind my embarrassing spam please! ^^;
