filtering color for grays

While cleaning out some old files, I realized that I have quite a few stray icon textures sitting around my computer, either from those that had never made it into my previous sets or those that I didn't get the chance to make enough for a complete set. I figured I'd put them together to make a mixed texture pack for you all, much like the old Thank You Set that I made last year. :) Since many of these were leftovers, you may see a few familiar looking styles from some of my old sets. As another thank you for being so wonderful (and also a very belated celebration of 3,000+ friends-of), I made several new textures to go along with it as well. I hope there's at least something in there that you'd like- lights, gradients, general plain textures, etc. :)

Because I have gazillions of babbles to...babble about, including how/where to get more pattern sets and gradient sets from me, and some updates, etc.- I'm putting all details behind a cut. :p And also, great thanks to everyone who has responded to my previous post. :) I'm reading through them now and will get to replying soon- though maybe after I wake up later because I haven't slept in over 24 hrs. :p

You guys have truly stunned me beyond words. ;_; I'm completely blown away! I could hardly believe my eyes when I saw how many wonderful comments have been left for me in response to this post. Originally, I wanted to reply to each and every one of you- but I was afraid of sounding too redundant that I may come off as insincere. Instead, I'd like to offer a texture set that I had been working on since yesterday. I made 85 in dedication to the number of comments I had received (except when I was done, I realized that there was 1 more comment added- sorry about that. ^^;;) I hope you will like these and accept them as my show of great great appreciation for your trust in me, your encouragement, and for just being downright awesome. :)

I originally wasn't going to share these since they're just random bright gradients I threw together for myself and didn't think anyone would be especially interested. But since several of you commented and asked about the coloring techniques I used for my recent Harry Potter icon post over here, I decided to put them up anyway. :) Hope you like!

Several of you talked about the coloring style I used for my Past Stars and Romeo + Juliet posts so I thought I'd share these color textures that I made a while ago for using on those types of styles. I hope you'll find some use for them as well. :) And on a side note, those who are still waiting for me to get to your icon requests, I'll try to make them asap!
